ABM are delighted to announce the successful completion of Grace Park Educate Together National School, Grace Park Road, Drumcondra, Dublin 9. This project was completed under the Department of Education and Skills Accelerated Build Schools Programme 2017 – 2019.
The development located at the DCU All Hallows Campus off Grace Park Road consisted of the Design & Build of 1 no. 16 classroom primary school building with a general-purpose hall, support teaching spaces and ancillary accommodation, with a total floor area of 3760 sqm. The school is three storeys high with a single storey element and a first-floor roof garden.
The site works to the school grounds consisted of the provision of 160 no. cycle storage spaces, 50 no. scooter storage, bin store, external store, ball courts, project gardens, play areas, landscaping and boundary treatment and all other associated site development works. The works to the remainder of the site consist of the provision of 18 no. staff parking spaces, drop-off, and pick-up facilities.
The project was let on a design and build basis and ABM’s role was as Main Contractor and Project Supervisor for the Construction Stage (PSCS).
