Design and Build

ABM has been one of Ireland’s pioneering leaders in design and build construction since 2011, providing integrated turn–key designs, construction and project management services to government agencies across Ireland. ABM have successfully delivered in excess of 30 fast track system build schools for the Department of Education, social housing provision for Local Authorities across the country and the healthcare facilities on behalf of the HSE. Success has been built around retaining well established working relationships with our design team professionals, construction management personnel and supply chain, and an understanding of end user requirements. We understand that it is vital that all stakeholders work together to ensure that projects are completed within the required design, programme and budgetary parameters.
ABM invest in latest technologies including BIM Modelling and clash detection software and operate a common data environment to maintain exceptional quality standards and coordination both in the construction and administration of projects.
We have successfully completed a number of BIM school projects for the Department of Education in accordance with ISO 19650 standards.
ABM has established a reliable and robust approved supply chain having on hand highly competent and professional subcontractors and designers with dynamic capabilities to ensure clients experience excellent service throughout the project.
ABM is certified to NSAI ISO 9001: 2015 Quality and Environmental standards and NSAI ISO 45001:2018 for Health and Safety standards.
Modular Construction
ABM Contractors providing main contractor services to our clients in Ireland, utilising modular construction techniques.
ABM specialises in the provision of modular buildings, delivering quality offsite building solutions, products and services to our clients meeting a wide range of requirements throughout Ireland. In collaboration with our specialist Design Team and Modular Supplier partners, ABM have established an expertise in the provision of bespoke designs which meets the standards required for compliance with the Modern methods of Construction for Modular Buildings solutions, in particular for education facilities. Design incorporates elements of construction that are fully certified with elements having NSAI Agreement certification where appropriate.
ABM commit that all key building elements clearly confirm compliance of all materials and their assembly in a bespoke modular solution which will meet the specific project requirements and is certified to have passed all relevant regulatory tests. The building elements are devised from established materials, and the configuration of elements including external envelope and internal fit out adheres to the principles of system design. This alignment is in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements, encompassing both the European and the British standards where appropriate, and equally with the specific Government Department Technical Guidance Documents. All materials used at different stages of each module construction are purposely designed to meet the criteria and pass relevant testing standards for the modular project.
