ABM Contractors Ltd are delighted to announce the successful completion and delivery of a new modular residential development: Estuary Way at Mahon’s Point, Cork City.
Delivered under a Design and Build contract for Cork City Council, the project comprises 36 single-storey semi-detached modular homes and 2 office building which were carefully installed within a residential area.
The modular homes were constructed off site in a controlled factory environment and fully fitted out prior to transport to Cork. Each unit was delivered with internal finishes already completed with mechanical and electrical services, bathroom fit outs and fully installed kitchens already in place. Once on site, the homes were craned into position, connected to services, tested and commissioned, with no major internal construction works required.

With the units installed in Estuary Way, the team began the external works required for the new residential area. The scope of this work involved comprehensive activities such as underground utilities, drainage systems, hard and soft landscaping, the construction of roads, boundary treatments and footpaths. Also included were public enhancements such as play and green areas.
The completion of Estuary Way reflects ABM's core value – Build for The Future – as we continue our commitment to delivering innovative housing solutions and managing complex residential developments.
A fantastic achievement by everyone involved in bringing this project from design through to completion.
