ABM Contractors Ltd was delighted to attend the official sod-turning ceremony for the St. Thomas’ Sports Complex, hosted by Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.
The event was attended by Minister Patrick O’Donovan (Minister for Arts, Media, Communications, Culture & Sport) and Minister Charlie McConalogue (Minister of State for Sport and Postal Policy), who highlighted the importance of this transformative project for the community.
Also present were ABM Head of Construction, Robert Fraser, along with members of the ABM Site Team, who will play a key role in delivering this exciting development.
As the main contractor, ABM are proud to lead Phase 2 of this project, which will bring world-class sporting facilities to Dundrum.
Phase 2 will deliver:
- A modern sports building
- A multi-purpose gym
- An 8-lane floodlit running track
- Track & field facilities and more!
With Phase 1 already delivering an international-standard athletics track, this next phase will further establish St. Thomas’ Sports Complex as a premier destination for athletes of all levels.
