ABM has officially begun construction work on the third stand at Tallaght Stadium with the turning of the sod by the Mayor of South Dublin County Council, Cllr. Paul Gogarty and ABM General Manager Philip Weinmann on 22nd March 2018.
The tender won by ABM comprises a new single tier, south stand at Tallaght Stadium, Co. Dublin for South Dublin County Council.
The Design, construction and fit-out of a new roofed precast concrete stand will provide seated viewing accommodation for up to 2,183 spectators with provision of toilets and service areas under the new south stand and the creation of a new exit gate within the existing external perimeter wall.
During the construction period, the football stadium and pitch will continue to be in use and ABM have implemented a strict cleaning regime on site and to include access roads to the site ensuring they are all are kept clean, free from mud and other debris on a regular basis for the duration of the works to ensure supporters, visitors and guests will not be affected during events at Tallaght Stadium.
