ABM are delighted to announce the completion and official handover of Swords Community College, Fingal, Co. Dublin. This project was completed under the Department of Education and Skills Accelerated Build Schools Progamme 2017 – 2019.
The project was let on a design and build basis and ABM’s role was as Main Contractor and Project Supervisor for the Construction Stage (PSCS).
The development consisted of 1 no. two storey and three storey Post Primary School building with a sports hall, ancillary student and staff facilities, 2 no. classroom Special Needs Unit and ancillary spaces with a total floor area of 11,397m².
The site works to the school grounds consisted of the provision of cycle storage spaces, bin store, external store, ball courts, gardens, play areas, landscaping and boundary treatment, car parks, set down areas and all other associated site development works.
