The development consists of the design and construction of 38 single-storey semi-detached modular housing units together with all associated mechanical and electrical services, site development and external works within a residential area. Delivered under a Design and Build contract, the project includes all associated site infrastructure and enabling works, including site preparation, foundations, underground utilities, drainage, roads and footpaths, public lighting, hard and soft landscaping, boundary treatments and public realm works. ABM is responsible for fulfilling the roles of Designer, Main Contractor, Project Supervisor for the Design Process (PSDP) and Project Supervisor for the Construction Stage (PSCS), while ensuring full compliance with the Building Control (Amendment) Regulations (BCAR) 2014, including the duties of Design Certifier and Ancillary Certifiers.
